North Allegheny Junior Varsity Tigers could not keep up with Central Catholic 10-6 on Thursday at North Allegheny Senior High School.

Central Catholic were the first to get on the board in the first when Matthews singled, scoring one run.

North Allegheny Junior Varsity Tigers captured the lead, 4-1, in the bottom of the first when Ebken tripled, scoring two runs, Figura singled, scoring one run, and Freeh doubled, scoring one run.

Central Catholic tied the game in the top of the second thanks to a single by Fariss, a walk by Matthews, and a wild pitch.

Central Catholic took the lead in the top of the third. Atwood singled, scoring one run, to give Central Catholic the upper hand, 5-4.

North Allegheny Junior Varsity Tigers tied the game in the bottom of the sixth thanks to a walk by Kern, and a passed ball.

Central Catholic made the score 10-6 in the top of the seventh after Fariss drew a walk, scoring one run, Sarkis singled, scoring two runs, and an error scored one run.

Scotti pitched three and two-thirds innings in relief for North Allegheny Junior Varsity Tigers. The hurler surrendered one hit and two runs while, striking out eight and walking six. Spak took the loss for North Allegheny Junior Varsity Tigers. The pitcher went one-third of an inning, giving up one run on zero hits, striking out none and walking three. Petro started the game for North Allegheny Junior Varsity Tigers.
